We needed to host a huge event for about 3,000 people for 3 days. We did a very extensive survey of all the convention centres that existed in India and we found out that there was only one convention centre in India that deserved to be called a convention centre – and it was HICC. We are very clear about all that because all the others had very huge drawbacks, both in terms of infrastructure and in terms of the human resource and professionalism that we had the right to expect here. We made the right choice! The infrastructure, we knew would have no problem and the HICC staff showed great professionalism and support, always willing to listen to our remarks and willing to adjust if there were things we wanted to change. We had a very, very good experience, and if we were to do this event again, we would do it here.

We are an organization consisting of 175 space-faring organizations around the whole world. We've had 2000 of us gathered here in Hyderabad in the past week. We've been truly delighted with the opportunity to hold our premier space conference every year around the world; the most prestigious and most important. So with 130 technical sessions to be held over 4 days, given other scheduled things and other even, it is a very difficult task for any facility to accommodate us and to do a good job. Your colleagues here in HICC have done a superb job in working with our local team here in India and our international team.

Asia Pacific Seed Association 2008

The delegates came from various parts of the world – from 47 countries. And there were more than 830 delegates, even from America , Europe and Japan . They all liked this property. It was an excellent facility for them. Basically they never thought that India can have such a large and well-equipped facility available for a convention and conference. Their feedback to me was that with the new airport in place and with this facility, they feel that this is inferior to none. It's one of the best in the world. I will certainly recommend to all the future conference holders that they can certainly look to this property. Not only the property, but also the hospitality and the interaction with the staff was very excellent. They were just next door, and whatever we wanted was immediately attended to.

HUGO – HGM 2008

I have seen many venues in the USA . They are huge, but this is just homely, compact and it is absolutely fantastic. HUGO itself coming to India is a big achievement for the country. When we were thinking of India , there was a big debate, whether we should host it in Delhi or Hyderabad . All of us were pitching for Delhi , obviously because it was much easier for us. But when I came here and saw your team, we thought it doesn't matter if I don't work or don't do anything, because you have enough infra-structure to just make it happen. And this was one of the loveliest places we could show the foreigners that our country has. And an added advantage we had and didn't expect at that time was the airport. And many young students of India , about 700-800 of them, got the flavor of an international meeting, without going abroad.
